Adding a new column after saving content to the database

I made a table with a single column in it and filled it as i wanted and later felt the need for another one. How can i do that? I AM GETTING ERRORS.

Simply by adding the column name and running migrations...
Python manage.py makemigrations
Manage.py migrate
