How to run ORM commands in Javascript DOM?

I am trying to run model.objects.filter(id=2) through javascript and show results in popup. I am unable to find the solution. Please guide me with solution or any alternative to get this.

Get the data in the current screen before opening the popup or hit a ajax request to the server to get the said data.
