Empty static files are generated by django-pipeline with BrowserifyCompiler

Hi guys,

I am trying to create a django-rest app together with react and I stuck and point where assets generated by collectstatic are empty. Even if they are in the right directory I get 404 error on the main page. I see here 2 issues and help at least with one would be highly appreciated.
