Deploy/publish Django project - Visual Studio 2019

I have built a simple Django application using VS 2019 but have no idea how to deploy either to a Linux or Windows server. I'm unclear as to what files I need to copy. The Django documentation makes the statement that their objective is to make Django as easy to deploy but I'm at a loss as what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
