manage.py collectstatic?

When I run this command, I get:

You have requested to collect static files at the destination
location as specified in your settings.

This will overwrite existing files!
Are you sure you want to do this?

Q1: Where is this location specified in settings?

Q2: Which files will be overwritten and why?

settings.STATIC_ROOT

All the files which were previously copied to STATIC_ROOT from all the
paths listed in settings.STATICFILES_DIRS will be overwritten

In theory you could empty STATIC_ROOT and refill it each time via
manage.py collectstatic
