I'm proud to announce that after a few months of stagnation the french
community is online with a new site (powered by django of course) :
The aim of this site is to provide translations of the documentation,
useful links and of course to create a local community! It's already
the case with the #django-fr channel on freenode, feel free to join
The site is still a work in progress and a lot of improvement is
planned. Translations need to be reviewed before publication and it
takes time. Do not hesitate to contact me or to join the french
mailing-list if you have any question or if you are motivated (have a
look at the participate page on the site), we hope that new community
will create passionate django users like the english one ;-).

than 10 people on the channel. :)
