Did you run the makemigrations and migrate command from console ?

n you check if the port 8000 is used by something else?

Oops...I meant 'can you'.

Alternatively try 8001 or 8002 (or...) in the DOS window and point the browser to the corresponding port.

And, yes, migrate command also needs to be run. But that will not affect the starting of the server.
