Django Pytest with multiple db including legacy one

Hi Guys,

Not sure this question is on purpose as not purely Django related …

I am building a frontend using two databases : one for Django and a legacy database my frontend needs to access to (read-only). As such, I do have managed models with a Django managed db and unmanaged models in an unmanaged legacy db.

I am now trying to build up unitary testing using pytest for Django. How would you configure Pytest such that a test db is created for my Django db but the legacy database is just accessed without any sort of database creation and model creation ?

I found this documentation : https://pytest-django.readthedocs.io/en/latest/database.html#using-an-existing-external-database-for-tests

But it doesn’t really help …
