Thanks for this ticket, however the Django admin is not a
[https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/stable/ref/contrib/admin/#module-
django.contrib.admin universal tool for building an app]. We have soooo
many options to customize things that adding a new one is always
controversial. Please first start a discussion on the
DevelopersMailingList, where you'll reach a wider audience, and
[https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/stable/internals/contributing/bugs-and-
features/#requesting-features follow the guidelines with regards to
requesting features].

You can also try to use one of
[https://code.djangoproject.com/wiki/TicketClosingReasons/UseSupportChannels
support channels], folks may have ideas how to override something to get
the same effect without using JS.
