The end of support for MySQL 8.0 is April 2026. Moreover MySQL 8.1, 8.2,
and 8.4 are short-term innovation releases. Therefore, Django 6.1
(released in August 2026) may set MySQL 8.4 as the minimum version that it
supports (see SupportedDatabaseVersions).
