RAB Lighting's Interactive Electronics team is looking for a full-time backend developer to join us at our Manhattan R&D lab and help develop an exciting new hardware+software system. You should have experience developing reliable web software in Python that connects databases, web services and user interfaces together. If I asked you to design your ideal website infrastructure, you'd be passionately opinionated about how it should be done.

RAB Lighting is a leading manufacturer of sustainable outdoor LED lighting fixtures, and my team exists to take this industry into the next century. You will have the opportunity to prototype and execute innovative and transformative ideas of how people interact with lighting and work alongside professional hardware engineers (oscilloscopes will be nearby)!

Skills & Requirements

· 5+ years experience with Python web development

· Thorough devops/VPS experience
· Extensive VPN experience a plus
