Status of the project

Hi, I am using (and loving) django-rest-interface.

However, it seems the project is somewhat dead, is there any status on
the project?

I wouldn't say it is dead. It may not be actively developed but it
still works well. I'd recommend evaluating both django-rest-interface
and django-piston to see which one suits your project requirements. 12
months ago I did the same and settled on django-rest-interface.
