Hola,

whats the current status of the project,
i see some recent action going on after the initial commits.

I've been working on a personal project using similar approach
(different db table for each models translations) but had to abbandond
it due to limited time and limited knowledge of django orm internals.

Is there is a specific plan on things to get done and are you open to
contributions ?

I'd also like to know what is the status of the project.

I'm working on a CMS project which needs to implement translations and
I like your API better than other solutions I've looked into, but I'd
need to know if it's usable as it is now and if you foresee a lot of
API inestability in the future.

My current project deadline us May/2010, so I need to make this
decision soon :)

Thanks,

NicoEchániz.

Hi,

It's nice to see some interest on this project, that encourage us to
work harder, when getting back from holidays.

The project is alive again, as you noted, it was started a while ago but
it was a bit dead for a long time, but being mentioned on some blogs posts
recently had awaken our interest on getting something useful from this
piece of code.

The API should be consider unstable until it reach some stable version,
but it was never discussed yet, anyway it was well thought and the main
API shouldn't suffer any alteration, we are very happy with our approach
also.

It's useful, but it wasn't tested on projects as far as I know. Currently
the main issue is select_related, it doesn't delegates the languages
selected and doesn't seems to be easy to get it working, yet.

So please, use it, your feedback will be very welcome!

Hi,

congrats and thank you for this nice piece of software - the best
solution around for model i18n. Even though it's not ready yet, I used
it on a small project and everything worked fine. I'm sure it's going
to take off once you add admin integration.

Keep on the good work!

Regards,

Vítor
