Hi folks

The default django-paypal form comes with a credit card number field, but no drop-down to pick the card type. It works, of course, and from the WPP docs I can see that there is no requirement to provide a card type - but am just wondering if anyone has implemented the form with a card picker and/or if there's a fork of django-paypal out there that does this. An easy hack?

Also, while I'm passing, the example implementation has the form which captures card details and the Express Checkout button on the same page, but the WPP docs imply that I need to offer EC before capturing any Direct Payment info. Does anyone know how strict PayPal are on having both of the links on the same page? (My plan is to hide the Direct Payment form with JS and reveal when the user clicks on 'pay with credit card', which I think still satisfies the 'show EC link before capturing address or financial details' rule, no?)

Finally, regarding SSL, it seems there is only one view in my site that needs SSL protection (the one that captures the credit card details and either renders an error form if the form is broken, then pings PayPal over SSL anyway). Is that right, or are there more to ensure are encrypted?

Cheers
Steve
