project activity, new release?

Is this project still active? There hasn't been much happening on
github in the last six months. Still, I would like to see a new
release if possible. The last release on pypi is well over a year
old. The documentation on packages.python.org is even older. We're
running under Django 1.3 and would like to get the CSRF fix, among
other things. It would really help to have a proper release with a
new version number, some release notes, and updated documentation.
