upgrading django 1.2/page cms 1.2 to django 1.3/page cms 1.4

Trying to upgrade an old project. I've been through many errors
however I keep coming back to this error when I try to add/edit a
page.

Exception Type: KeyError
Exception Value: 'wsgi.input'
Exception Location: C:\Python26\lib\site-packages\django\core\handlers
\wsgi.py in __init__, line 138

Any ideas why and how to fix?
