Hi,
I'm evaluating django-oscar and have successfully build a new project templates.
Now, I would like to disable some apps from core apps. For example I would like to disable discount code.

What best approach do you recommend ?
Is this better to clone and tune oscar core settings in my project settings or is there some special mechanism to accomplish that ?

I would also like to disable its urls. I've found http://django-oscar.readthedocs.org/en/latest/howto/how_to_change_a_url.html within documentation on how to alter some urls but what can be the best approach to disable url ?

Thanks

As of 0.5, the best way is probably to remove the relevant URLs and modify any templates that reference the URLs.  It's a bit long-winded but works.

We've made some progress in 0.6 on this topic, introducing the concept of 'features' so it's easily to remove whole features like reviews or wishlists through a setting.

Thanks david for your response.

I'm running actually trunk version, the project will target 0.6.

I've found the OSCAR_HIDDEN_FEATURES settings that seems to work fine for disabling reviews and wishlists. Will see if I need to deactivate other ones.
What module do you plan to be deactivable next ? May be I can help on this.

I was waiting for emails like yours to guide us as to which 'features' to be deactivable.  So yes: you can help.  I presume vouchers if the functionality you want to disable - if so, can you create a ticket requesting this and I'll ensure it gets implemented.
