Cash On Delivery, Bank Transfer and Credit Card gateway from bank

I would like to implement multiple payment gateways in my ecommerce website but django-oscar-payments seams really outdated and I am not sure how I can work with it.

Should I fork checkout app?

Should I make a new app like it is suggested here https://groups.google.com/g/django-oscar/c/0Ui-n65efEc/m/oF2LGXHDCwAJ ?

Or there is a better way?

Ill make a plugin for every payment method when I have some time to work on this. Ill post the solution here when I do make it.
