I have strange errors where the error is not shown, cf. empty bracket [] :
What can this be? There is nothing to be found in the logs.

Can you provide more information?

It's a wine shop under development.
The environment is:
  • Ubuntu 24.04.1 with Apache 2.4.58
  • venv python 3.12.3
  • Django 4.2.16
  • django-oscar 4.0a1
I tried to make elasticsearch work to replace the simple_backend but no luck so far, it's possible the issue comes from the search app / index.

I might build the shop from scratch.

Do you get the same error if you downgrade django-oscar to 3.2.5?

Are you overriding the category model? I would try to run it with the debugger to see what is generating the error if possible

Same mess for django-oscar 3.2.5.
I am not overriding any category model.
Debugger, you mean DEBUG = True in settings? No luck there either.

I meant a debugger like in pycharm.

If you don't override the search app, do you still get the error?

I'm not using pycharm, but I can. Not sure what it could dig up though.

As far as I know I am not overring any app, but I'll let you know.
