Howdy Folks,

I was wondering if anyone would like to meetup this month, sometime
very soon. I don't envision anything very formal, I just wanted to
say hello and perhaps compare tools and practices. I would be
interested to talk about things like schema evolution, mobile sites,
and Javascript libraries. Perhaps, a workshop like session during
which would could share comments and criticisms of our recent Django
sites would be fruitful.

Thanks,

I'll second that. Does anybody have an idea for a meeting place?

Did the November meetup at StudioNow happen? I didn't remember
hearing anymore about it after a reschedule was requested. Is
Sitening going to take a turn? The doors at cabedge are always open.

Does anybody know if the Ezell family had their baby, yet?

No. Never got much response about reschedule. Would be glad to host
this month.

When?

I would love to do something soon. Mondays and Thursdays are generally
good for me.

Not sure how many people attend these meetups, but I can provide
a location with projector and wifi. Our conference room would
probably accommodate a dozen or so people.

I know we have been talking about trying to meet so I wanted to see if
anyone wants to try and get together somewhere next week? Say on
Wednesday or Thursday?

I have been meaning to respond sooner, so I apologize if this is too late of a notice.

We (StudioNow) can host on Tuesday, 1/27, say from 6PM to 8ish, if anyone wants to get together then.

What says everyone?

Because I am a student in Knoxville right now, the only meetings I can
make in Nashville are ones that would occur from Thursday evening
through Sunday night. Perhaps I can make the meeting next month.

Brings up a good point that it would be most useful to have a standing
date and time (like the geek breakfast does).

I am up for an informal meetup if anyone is interested.  I'm partial to the coffee shops around east nashville (ugly mugs, portland brew, etc.) but I'd also be ok with anything around Belmont, midtown nashville, etc.

What about a lunch meetup?  With 3 little ones at home, I find it much easier to find time for an extended lunch than in the evening.

What about picking a recurring calendar day (eg 2nd Tuesday at 11:30
of every month) and we switch up locales from Franklin, Brentwood, the
Village, etc. So that way we can be close to different folks at
different months.
