Multilingual with Django 1.2

Has anyone got multilingual to work with django 1.2 beta 1? I know
there's #114 [1] with two (broken) patches. Seeing the 1.2 release
date is coming closer and closer this should really be looked at,
since people will want to switch to 1.2 due to the improvements made.
