Hope everyone is doing well. I am at a point in my career that I am no longer actively utilizing Django each day. As a matter of fact, I rarely make use of Django unless maintaining older applications. That said, it has become increasingly difficult for me to keep up with the Django Jython project over the past year. I simply do not have enough time to commit towards the project, and the project deserves to have an owner who can dedicate more time and support toward it.
I'd like to poll the group to find out if anyone would be interested in taking over as owner of the project so that it can move forward at a more acceptable pace. I would still like to maintain a position as committer on the project so that I can help out as time allows, but I think it is time to pass ownership along to someone else who has more time to contribute.
Would anyone be interested in taking over as owner of the project so that it can move forward and stay more in-line with the Django project?
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from interested candidates.
