Microservice file management app with Django

Hi everyone :)

I am new to Django and I have to make microservice app which will be able to manage documents - upload different types of files (doc, pdf, jpg, ...) to a server, store info in database, delete, download files, etc. 

Is django-filer extenstion suitable for my project please?
