CSS issues obscure the bulk delete in admin for filer.... any help?

but reposting here incase anyone can see this, how do I even go about debugging the CSS issues here?   I don't see the CSS file in my project that filer is using (is it grabbing it from where it was pip installed to?) if so I probably shouldn't change those CSS files, how do I get them over to my project specifically?
