Hey you, rock solid backend developer!

Would you want a new challenge developing the backend for a mobile commerce product? Do you want to make your mark? Great, since we are looking for a full time team member to join our Helsinki-based startup!

We are interested in getting a Senior Backend Developer to join our ranks, both to work on the backend code and the continuous integration and deployment systems.

You will be responsible only to the CTO, Janne Enberg, and working in collaboration with the lead frontend developer and other interested parties. Janne is an IT generalist with experience in working in a variety of roles in a handful of startups.

What we require from you: 
- Good written and spoken communication in English 
- Can-do attitude and proactivity 
- Experience in backend application development both with and without application frameworks 
- Experience or interest in learning Python 
- Experience in unit testing 
- 2+ years of experience in backend development 
- Experience in Linux system administration 
- Ability to manage your own tasks, without someone constantly telling you want to do

We have a prototype of a backend system written in Python utilising both Django and Flask for different parts. Continuous integration and deployment setup is also partially done already, utilizing Salt Stack, Jenkins, Google Compute Engine and various other tools.

The communication with clients happens mostly over a RESTful API, except for the real-time updates the server-side application pushes via Comet.
