Hi all,

I've recently made a tinyMCE plugin to customise the link dialog to add a 'select from medialibrary' button. It involved some interesting gymnastics with the internals of tinyMCE and django admin, and it struck me that it may be useful to others. Is this something people are interested in?

I've actually been involved with developing a couple of other Fein/tinyMCE plugins - but I'm not sure what the best way of packaging these up is - for example the tinyMCE files need to be in the right place in the directory structure. We don't store our tinyMCE in the 'default' location as it's under MEDIA_URL which doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Thoughts?
Marc

Hi Marc

This sounds interesting. I've made a plugin that lets you use the FeinCMS site tree for selecting links.

I suggest opening a git repository 'feincms-tinymce-plugins' and put useful plugins in there. People can fork it, update it and send you a pull request. You can then decide which ones you would like to include.

We can mention it on the FeinCMS website in the yet-to-be created section for plugins.

Regards
Simon

Ok I've got the repo set up. I'm going to want to add a few things (better docs, a couple of my other plugins etc). Obviously all of this stuff is based on the location of some static files, so I've opted to put tinyMCE in the 'canonical' location defined by default_settings. I'm not sure whether this repo should provide tinyMCE as well?

Anyway, have a look around - comment is very welcome!
