Hello everyone!

I’am new to Django and I would like to contribute.

I followed the documentation and I picked up an assigned ticket (# 16406 3)

Now I’am trying to solve it but I am stuck. The ticket is rather old and I don’t really understand what is the problem I have to tackle.

I posted a message to explain what I’ve done until now in the ticket description.

If anyone could give me a direction to follow It would be a great help.

Thanks

Adam Johnson

Hi Alexandre

This ticket does go quite deep into the URL resolution infrastructure. You could try reading more of its internals, but for a first ticket I'd say this one is quite advanced. If there's another ticket in an area of Django you are more comfortable with, perhaps that would be better.

Thanks,

Adam

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your answer.

Now, I know I have to go deeper in the Django URL resolution.

I will try to understand the internal process of handling a request, from its reception to its resolution.

Alexandre
