Hi Guys,

We're looking for FSAs with a very strong Django background.
Please feel free to move it to move it to another group if this one is
not suitable.

We are currently looking for a freelance Systems administrator who has
mod_python, apache and django website deployment experience. We have
two servers at the moment that need maintaining and work done on them.

Duties will include:

* General Maintenance

* Making sure Backups are running

* Creating subversion repositories and managing accounts for our sites

* Implementing sites deployment solutions (development -> staging ->
production) using subversion and hook scripts.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Bash and Python programming Skills
* Good abilities to multi-task, excellent written and verbal
communication skills.
* Solid understanding of FreeBSD
* Strong understanding of various internet protocols and technologies
(FTP, SSH, LDAP, HTTP, SSL, SMTP, IMAP, NFS, SMB, etc.)
* Shell scripting
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP networked environments; configuring
network interfaces, routing tables, NFS and DNS configuration and
basic network troubleshooting
* Understanding of Apache and Postgres
* Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply processes and procedures
* Ability to analyze, investigate and solve problems (i.e. Very strong
troubleshooting skills)
* Self motivated and able to work under minimal management/supervision
* Responsible; exhibits **sense of ownership**
* Flexible; the ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks
simultaneously

I've noticed that you have posted requests for Django developers in
the past. On at least two occasions, someone asked who "we" is, and I
would like to echo that question.

Some of your other posts were much more vague than this one, but you
did specify that location doesn't necessarily matter assuming that the
candidate has fast, reliable Internet. Does that apply in this
situation as well?

Hi there --

Please don't post job ads to django-developers. Django-users is the
right place for that. You've been asked twice before to keep job ads
off this group. Don't make this mistake again.
