How to assign issue to self

Hii...I want to contribute to django. But I am not getting how to assign issue ticket to self. Can you tell me the step to assign issue.

On open, unassigned tickets, you can click "assign to", have your username (which is prefilled) and click "submit changes" at the bottom:
