Brief description of djub needed for EuroPython

Hey folks,

as you probably have heard, the Django Users Berlin are officially part
of the EuroPython 2014, happening this summer in Berlin [1]. The
conference brochure will mention the different Berlin user groups who
are involved in organizing. Therefore a brief description of what the
Django Users Berlin are and a short recap of what happened since its
foundation is required.

I'm looking for a volunteer who can write an description (200 words
tops), as my knowledge of the latter part (history of the djub) is
somewhat limited.

I'm happy to see any reply until Friday 13th.
