Job description
We want our video content to make scense within the contents of our partner networks. You will be part of a small motivated dev team that utilizes first hand data and third-party APIs. You will create and develop a software architecture that creates matchings between the semantic meaning of third party content with our own content. As a teamplayer you will also design and create scalable widget technologies to embed our contents to our partner networks.
What we do!!
Freshmilk‘s WebTV-Network currently includes many quality web TVs like fashiondaily.tv and freshmilk.tv. Our contents are played by well-known publishers from areas such as music, fashion, beauty, art, culture, film and urban lifestyle. Overall the network‘s video payout count reaches as many as several million people. All our publications and webisodes are produced exclusively and offered only to selected publishing partners for syndication.
Qualifications:
3+ years commercial experience as a developer
3+ years experience with javascript (familiar with cross-origin problems and how to circumvent them)
2+ years experience in Python
2+ year experience with Python-Django Web Framework
degree in Computer Science or Similar
strong HTML and CSS skills
good team player and communication skills
1+ experience with cassandra db, redis (not only as pure caching engine) or similar nosql databases
enough Linux experience to get by
you are used to work with git
experience with kafka or storm is a big plus
