Hi everyone!

Djangae master now supports the python3 runtime and Djangae 2.2!

Things to note:
  • This is not a drop-in replacement for Python 2 Djangae, because of the drastic changes in the Python 3 runtime. Please take a look at the current change log for what's been removed.
  • This is just the beginning of the Python 3 work. We intend to start replacing things like authentication, storage, etc.
  • The datastore connector has been moved to the Django GCloud Connectors project and is designed to work on Firestore in Datastore mode only! It can work from any Python 3 Django application though!
  • We have built minimal local emulators for Cloud Tasks and Cloud Storage and these will be filled out and improved over time. You can find them on PyPi.
This is very much Alpha quality, but we'll be working to improve it over the coming months!

Djangae 1.x development now happens in the 1.x branch, but will largely only be bug-fixing from now on.

Have a great weekend!
