    hey yall, it's internet steve.

so, i wanted to put together a post meetup write up and wanted yalls
help. basically, im looking to put something to together to share with
friends and other interested parties to show them what the meetup was
like and what we did. to give people an idea of what they missed,
hoping it to be inspiring or at least a good story.

im not looking to get it in a magazine or anything like that. i wanted
to put it on the blog page and then share it with other sailing
listservs and send the link to friends. obviously it being online
means it could spread all over the internet, as tends to happen. im
open to perhaps sharing it with a sailing mag or something if people
are happy with the result, but that conversation can happen after
people review it and see how they feel about the outcome.

    so im looking for:
    1. write ups from yall. for lengths sake, under 800 words about the
conference would be nice. i'd like it to be as free form as people
would like, but for instance id be interested to hear about people's
experiences, high points, analysis, how they feel after the meet up,
what they expected before the conference, and basically anything
they'd like to share. stories read well, if you'd like a format
suggestion. if you'd like to submit something but have trouble getting
started writing, send me an email and maybe we can get the ball
    rolling.

    2. picture consent. we got a ton of pictures, and id like to use some
of them. if anyone would NOT like their pictures to be used or would
not like pictures of them to be used, please let me know and it won't
    happen.

    3. anything else you'd like to contribute. id just like to arrange
this in a easy to read format, the content is yalls.

    4. passing this info onto people who attended but aren't on the
    listserv

the deadline is set for april 15th. send me submissions at
    stevev...@gmail.com
it'll take a while to compile everything but ill try to send a release
    date around april 15th.

obviously i don't have to be the only one doing this and im not trying
to make "the official account" or anything, but i just wanted to get
the ball rolling and would be willing to put it together.

i look forward to hearing from yall! thanks again for making the
conference happen and a great experience!
    -steve
