photos from the meetup

dearest able seamen,

in good faith that it's always "better late than never," i present to
you a 'small collection' (i was given over 2000 to sort) of photos
from our beloved meetup. hopefully this will conjure a positive
nostalgia and perhaps a sigh with a look towards the south. supplement
that with a feeling of accomplishment, it was quite the adventure
after all.

i obviously didn't receive everyone's pictures, so im only posting a
few that were given to me. i didn't receive any requests from anyone
earlier asking not to be in pictures posted online, but if anyone
doesn't want a picture up that's up or doesn't want any pictures of
them up, let me know and ill take them down. conversely, if you'd like
to add pictures that would be lovely! just send them my way,
diysailb...@gmail.com if it works for you. if the mess about
sending massive picture files online is daunting, send an email and
we'll figure it out.

the pictures have been lightly sorted through (so we don't have 454358
pictures of the castle) and sized down for easier uploading. also the
album is only viewable from the link, that way the pictures don't come
up on google image searches. so if you want to share, just send people
the link. i used picasa cause it has a limit of 1gb, flickr has a
limit of 200pix. im sure there's something better out there, it's just
what i knew.

if you view it in picasa webviewer you can watch it in a nice slide
show while you sip your pina colada.
