Hey I was thinking that it would be faverable to all if we try to keep
all the crew discussions in one thread.

I have thought of some guide lines that i think would help the
discusstion, but i might have forgotten some and please give feedback
on the format!

Please include (if you are looking for crew or to crew) the following:
-Location, both where you are and if there is any where specific you
want to go
-Availability, when and for how long
-Personal, a little about your self and what dreams, hopes and what
kind of person you are, how old and where are you from
-What are you looking for? what kind of journey are you looking for/on
-Experience, any minimum experience?
-Requirements, shared cost and so on
-Other, fx if you smoke

Boat owners:
About the boat, how many feet, what kind,

Of course feel free to include what ever more you want to and if you
have any other categorys let me know

Ahoy there, scaly wags and sea urchins!
I would like to kick off the crew finder thread!

I am Toke and most of you properly know me from the meet up, but any
how here goes!
If you know some one that might have a boat that needs crew please let
me know or forward this message.

I am currently volunteering in Livingston and will be doing so for a
while, the place i am at are very flexible with how long i can stay so
i can leave with pretty short notice. I am looking for experience more
than an actual passage and dont really care what destination the boat
is heading.
As for time frame i dont have any obligations so it will depend on
what suits best and how everything goes. I am looking for a ship to
crew as soon as possible and dont mind travelling over land, so any
where in central america/southern Mexico is of interest.

On a personal note I am looking for adventure and insight to life at
sea.
I am Danish, 19 of age and have recently finished high school. Most of
high school i dreamt of the world and the different experiences that
are to be had out there so here i am. I started in Panama and have
been traveling north by land but now after almost 5 months i feel it
is time to head out to seas!

I enjoy taking care of my body and have done a lot of different
martial arts but as of late (back in Denmark) i begun getting really
into Astanga Yoga and i was travelling with my yoga mat for the first
3 months but i donated it in San Marcos because of the hassle it was
traveling with it and i dident find as much time to practice as i
wanted. Besides that I really enjoy photography and I am traveling
with my DSLR.

I have sailed a bit in Denmark but most of my experience has come from
my time at this meetup and now know basic knots and sailing but i work
hard and learn fast and can stay awake forever!

I am a non-smoker but don’t mind people smoking.

I hope we can figure something out. I am traveling on a budget but
dont mind chipping in.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Cheers!

Hey Esteban, this is Jacob. I also live in Lake Worth and will be at 305 Fest. I have a 26' Grampian that I am getting ready to sail to Bahamas and around FL.... provided a hurricane doesn't blow.
Donna, it would be cool to meet you as well this winter. Seems like the ol L-Dub is a stomping ground for wayward sailors.
