My new isomorphic microtonal isomorphic keyboard app is now on the windows store. It is free. Here is the description:

Xenharmonic Keyboard is an isomorphic microtonal MIDI keyboard. It supports all possible regular two dimensional isomorphic keyboards with any shaped key. It also supports any regular musical temperament. It comes preloaded with a number of historically interesting keyboards: Wicki-Hayden, Harmonic Table, Janko, Hanson, Bosenquet, Fokker, as well as a number of keyboards I have experimented with. It also comes with many regular musical temperaments already programed in such as: 12-TET, 31-TET, 72-TET, Porcupine, Klesmic, Magic, Mavila. The keyboard is fully customizable, so users can program and save their own keyboards layouts and musical temperaments.

Nice work. I can't get the menu to work on Windows 10. My current Windows
machine does not have a touchscreen: is your app sensitive to touch
pressure? I have been using Hexiano on Android, which features glissando.
Is it currently possible to get it on your app or still in todo state?

Cheers,

Alexandre

Sorry about the issue. I don't have a team of testers, or an array of different machines to test on. The app should work with a mouse. Are the "Instrument | Keyboard | Temperament | Perfect Pitch | Touch Screen | About" tabs not working"? Do the keyboard keys glow, and produce pitches when you touch the notes? I posted an update today, should be on the store soon. Hopefully it will fix your problem. If not, let me know as much as possible about your system and I'll try to track down the issue. Hopefully I can work out all the kinks quickly. As far as glissando, I can add that in. I also intent to add in vibrato, as well as a number of other features. It will be an evolving entity.

Cheers,
Peter

Here is a link to me playing a Bach first three part invention, in quarter comma meantone, on an earlier iteration of the app back in March of 2016:

It should work on any computer running windows 10 which has a touch screen. You can use the app with just a mouse, but with out a touchscreen you can't really play any music on it (though you can make keyboards and mess around with temperaments). I have used it on a  15 inch screen Toshiba radius, and tried it our on a number of computers being sold at the Microsoft's store. The larger the screen the better. 15 inches is more than enough for the Wiki-Hayden layout. I think the the Wiki-Hayden layout could be used with a screen as small at 13 inches, but going much smaller than that, and I think you would be wishing for more screen real estate. For many of the other more linear piano like layouts, which are really good for micro-tonal stuff, you really need a pretty large touch screen to play any real music. I use it on a Acre 27 inch multi touch screen which works very nicely an, but would like to get a bigger one in the future.

Hello Peter,

I just booted Windows especially to retry your app. The store says "This
product is installed", but there is no update link and I still have no
menu.

Come on, port it to a decent OS!

Cheers,

Alexandre
