Dear DIYers,
It has been a while since the retreat, so I wanted to drop you a line with some updates.
As many of you have no doubt seen by now, the DIY Economy Facebook page is up and serving as a useful place to share ideas, engage with new members of the movement and where we will be posting updates as our work unfolds. As you may have seen, we've shared Jean's wonderful renderings of the visualizations that came out of our coalition building session, as well as David Brodwin's article reflecting on the event and this emerging movement.
I want to take a moment to encourage you all to share your thoughts and photos from the event and any work you are engaged in that would be of interest to the group. We will continue to do likewise. In about two weeks we will post a crowd-sourced retreat synthesis document. We will get things started by sharing the thoughts and insights that the retreat organizers captured from our time together and hope each of you will take time to share your thoughts insights and ideas for driving the movement forward.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have questions, comments, ideas or just want to chat DIY Economy!
With much appreciation for all the good work you are doing,
Josh
