ABC No Rio

Last night I had a nice, long conversation with Esneider from
Huasipungo who has been involved with ABC since about '89 or '90. I
got a lot of good info and advice from him. I'll try to organize my
notes and post a summary of everything we talked about here in the
next day or so. Otherwise, I'll talk about it at our meeting on
Wednesday. We talked for about 45 minutes so I have a lot of notes to
go through.

He is going to be out of town for about a week, but when he gets back
he says he is going to help me get in touch a couple people who may be
very helpful. He is going to put me in touch with one of the ABC board
members, somebody who is involved with Gilman, and his partner, Jane,
who works with a group that gives grants and helps other groups with
an umbrella 501-c-3 non-profit arrangement. I know a couple people
have brought this type of arrangement, so this may be very useful. I
don't think I'll have anything else besides the notes about my
conversation until after the next meeting, though.
