Body Lab is an opportunity to find out how real-time physiological
data can be used to influence the user experience. This kind of data
is already being used in developing innovative new interfaces for
gaming, health and mobile. Applications are as diverse as mobile phone
application that gather heart rate data to improve your health, a game
that uses EEG to control gameplay and body hacking.

This day long, hands on workshop will feature a briefing on
physiological computing, demonstration of systems that utilise body
data and an opportunity to work collaboratively to make more
compelling experiences.

Participation in this workshop will be of particular value to
freelancers, companies and artists interested in mobile, gaming and
health futures.

You can hear more about the workshops' subject matter in our podcast
of an interview with LJMU researchers Dr.Stephen Fairclough and Kiel
Gilleade on our website here - http://www.ljmu.ac.uk/APS/OpenLabs/121952.htm.

This event will take place on February 29, 2012 in Open Labs'
collaboration space (Liverpool, UK).
