Summit time!

Hi all,

If you haven't already, get your tickets booked for the Summit this weekend – it's going to be a good one! 

Lots of talks, discussions and workshops with a host of DIYbiologists from the UK, Europe, the US and beyond. Oliver and Sung Won from Genspace (NYC) will be running some genetic tests on (willing!) participants using a home-built lab; Cathal Garvey (Cork) and Brian Degger (UK) will be building trippy LED projectors with Daphnia (Water fleas) and hacking some webcams to get a proper look up close, and I'll be running a session on bacterial fuel cells. On top of that, there'll be a "show and tell" session from fellow DIYbio-ers, and an awesome session (TBA) from bio-artist Marc Dusseiller from Hackteria!
