Subject: [biohack-nyc] iGEM! And a note for biohackers around NYC

Hey guys,

I'll be advising Stuyvesant iGEM team for the next year through my lab Binomica, and I'm beginning simple biobricking and genetic constructs lesson starting late July/August. If anyone here wants to join in and learn about how to put together simple genetic circuits feel free to drop me a note!

Just in case you don't know about iGEM (www.igem.org), it's a genetic engineering competition where students from universities and high schools from all over the world build their own genetically engineered organisms.

Also Binomica is starting a special promotional offer for people who has DNA samples they need sequenced- free sequencing upto 500 bps. It's not much, but enough to sequence verify whatever you happen to be working on :)
