Is there anyone in the Sacramento/Davis area interested in making a
bio hackerspace (something akin to GenSpace or BioCurious).

I am in the Solano/Sacramento/Yolo area. and a Current Sac State Bio Major. It is True I hear some UC Davis People give you the impression that the Sacramento Valley is supposed to be the Silicon Valley of Biotech

But you Will have to Lobby at the Professors of Sacramento State, UC Davis, and Community Colleges from Solano County to Sacramento to support your ideas.

Marnia: if the trip to Oakland would be more manageable, Counter Culture Labs might be an option for you?

I’m starting a PhD at UC Davis this fall, and yes, I’m definitely interested. I don’t have a really clear idea of how to go about doing it, though.
