DIYbio funding models summed up in a post

Dear all,

I wrote this post for the SpotOn NYC DIYbio day, trying to put together various approaches to fund DIYbio initiatives: http://www.nature.com/spoton/2012/12/spoton-nyc-diy-science-how-do-we-make-diybio-sustainable/

It surely does need development and more details have to be fed in, but I guess it is a good basis for discussion.

Enzymes is definitely our biggest cost issue atm as you correctly identify.
