Dear all!
I'm curious if anybody of this DIY community is also dealing with neuroscience experiments at home?
The last days I've red a few discussions - and have to say it's unbelievable what you are doing, but I haven't found something about my big passion the brain :( after a lot of books and courses I definitely want to do something practical!

In hope for some answers ;)

Greetings from Germany

there were a lot of posts a while back, about this time last year I think, about the Epoch headsets, hacking soem of the mindstorm headsets, and different ways to collect data. Troll through the archives, there was a lot.

You might also want to check out Backyard Brains: https://backyardbrains.com/experiments/
Especially have a look at their RoboRoach, it's mind-blowing ;)

Hi!

One problem with advanced neuroscience diy is probably that you need to get the brains to dissect somwhere :D

If you want to control your computer by the mind, however, that's possible to diy. There are some headsets available that measure brain activity - wireless without putting electrodes into your mind.

Hope that helps, (I'm more into bacteria and plants, so I probably don't have the latest news about neurology)
