With delay but still, if you are coming to 30c3 in Hamburg (starting on 27/12), you are welcome to pop in Food Hacking Base assembly which should serv as food hacking hub at the congress

Sure thing. I'll make sure I bring some controllers along for the incubator hack. At the Re-new festival we used this one: https://labitat.dk/wiki/Incubator Perhaps a good starting point

I'm looking forward to see you there. One technical question - do you know about some insulation layer for +- 4 mm thick between the two heat sinks which are connected by heatpaste to the peltier?

I am not exactly sure what kind of insulation you are looking for. Typically any foam material works great, as long as it is able to withstand the heat.
