Hi all,
I have need of primers, I have a public limited company, and I'm in
Europe. Any recommendations?
Best,
Cathal

We've always used sigma. Would have liked to try invitrogen, but apparently failed a due diligence check.

Would also be interested in other sources.

How'd you fail the DD check? Were you ordering as individuals?

I've gotten primers from Sigma in the past, am considering IDT now, too.

They didn't tell us why - at the time we were indeed ordering as individuals and delivery address was the London hackspace, so that might have had something to do with it.

Now we've got an LTD we may try them again. NEB was another company who told us the same story, so will want to try that again too.

Will add IDT to our potential suppliers list :-)

IDT are a very solid outfit. Good product, good prices, fast and they care about customer satisfaction.

SIGMA are a very solid outfit. Good product, good prices, fast and they care about customer satisfaction. (From a SIGMA oligo employee naturally!)

Lol ..... not my experience from after Genosys was acquired by Sigma. I'll allow that things may have improved in recent years!
