...which is probably why we haven't yet reached the goal of our Alaska Barcoding Project, a crowfunding campaign that ends at midnight tomorrow.

All the barcoding is done at Genspace during public Open Barcode nights. It's a great intro to community labs and biotech for folks with no science background, and it has the added bonus of contributing sequence info from Alaskan plant species to the Barcode of Life database.

We are almost there! Less than $800 to go, and one day left to be part of this cool project.
