Hi,
I am looking for some people, maybe in the near of Würzburg (Frankfurt, Nürnberg) - Germany.
On the one hand, I need programmer, because I wanna fulfil my idea ; ) -  developing a software for the domain of science/medicine. Maybe it works when people are widespread in the world, I don´t know.....Get in touch with me....It would help to discuss the problems....
On the other hands, I am  searching for DIY labs near Würzburg to do some interesting science projects. Or are there any people who want to found a new group/lab?

I´m a biologist and looking forward to start a new science career  ; )

Cheers, Ute

Hi Ute,

Here in Montreal, we have a few good groups of programmers who are accustomed to working over long distances on projects. Maybe somebody will be interested! Do you have more details about what you'd like to get accomplished on the software side?

Hi Tom,
Thank you for the good news ; ))
The idea, what I have is to improve the diagnosis accuracy. Many, many diseases are misdiagnosed, because the physicians lack in experience, know-how or there are less exchange between the doctors. So that many untypical symptoms are not known. For example, every 3. "thyroid gland" is sick, but it is the most undetected disease! (in Germany).
And there are many other examples. May be it takes years to get to the right diagnosis. It doesn´t have to be that way. And it costs a lot of money...
It is logical, that time of physicians is limited (to read every article, ask colleagues,...- so they need help ; )
This is roughly the description of my idea. I have a clear imagination how this software should works. Maybe it makes sense, giving more details, when somebody is interesting... because it is getting excessive ; )
I haven´t a clue of software developing, but I guess, it would be, in this case, time consuming.
May be, it is interesting? I hope so...
Interesting projects can be sponsored, and medical projects are mostly of interest. This is also a good point for this project ; )
Cheers, Ute
