So what’s the new Cloning Wizard all about?

  1. Time Saver. Auto-detect cloning design errors with the new predictive design engine
  2. Flexible. Seamlessly add modifications to restriction sites on your insert or backbone with 5' and 3' overhangs.
  3. Simple. Choose the exact fragment when using multi-cutter restriction enzymes.
  4. Versatile. Generate your backbone and insert using endogenous restriction enzymes, PCR or synthesis.
  5. Intuitive. Easily visualise and verify your backbone and insert sticky ends.
  6. Useful. For PCR, design your own primers, auto-design them with Primer3 or choose primers directly from your primer libraries.

Hooray for better & faster cloning,

Ruti Alfandary

I don't think so, I do not work for them. Although I do hope to profit from people using great software to do great things in the form of advancements for our society. DNA is often discussed here and this is some of the best software I have seen to work with it. As far as I know it is free to use. This group is pretty savvy. I expect that those interested will click the link and find out about the newly revised Cloning Wizard. Maybe it will be just the thing to help some DIY projects.

Earlier I had been thinking it would be nice to be able to collaborate. They already have it.
We could work on projects together or use it for teaching.
