Hi - I've seen some info about this, but not able to resolve. I'm getting this message when I try to open the downloaded file: “DIYLC” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

I have OSX Maverics and have updated to latest version. Very interested in checking out this software. Please help.

Thank you

I don't have a mac, but people say it's fine. Try posting here http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=44838.2160
there are mac users there.
cheers

I'm also having trouble on Mavericks. I can't get it working at all, , exact same message. Tried extracting using different programs and I checked the SHA-1 and it came up fine.

Many thanks

Aha! Fixed it!

Updated to the newest java (may o may not have helped) and then in System preferences > Security and Privacy > General > Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere

Once I set it to anywhere the program ran first time. I changed it back and the program continued to run. Hope this works for you too =]

clean install on my machine....Sierra and the newest Java.

On Sierra I had to disable Gatekeeper to avoid the error and get the app to run.

works as normal.

Something about app signing.

from terminal.
sudo spctl --master-disable

Here's how you can get around that

http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/243687/allow-applications-downloaded-from-anywhere-in-macos-sierra

Unfortunately, I don't know much about how macs work, they aren't common where I live at all. And I understand that apple charges 100 bucks to be able to submit apps to the official store which makes even a bigger hustle.

Cheers,
Bane

This has been driving me nuts but I finally found a fix.  Find the app on your Mac, and Get Info.  At the bottom you will see permissions.  Make sure all three are set to Read and Write.
